Created in California by award-winning hash maker, The Real Cannabis Chris, the “thumbprint” is an innovative twist on the presentation and consumption of solventless hash rosin. While this unique package typically presents a Live Hash Rosin Jam center bordered by a ring of cold cure Live Hash Rosin, Mai Tai Pie is a little different in this regard, having a cold cure center and outer ring.

Thumbprints demand a good deal of craftsmanship. Not only does it take time and experimentation to identify the most effective and complementary hash pairings, but each package must be carefully formed by hand, thus limiting batch sizes. The people have spoken, and the result is Mai Tai Pie! Back in February, we opened up the floor for Breakwater hash lovers to vote on our next Live Hash Rosin Thumbprint. Our winning combination features two in-house selections from 808 Genetics – Sugarloaf Pineapple and Strawberry Cherry Pie.

These half siblings from 808’s 2021 Strawberry Runtz line surge together in a tidal wave of unmistakably vibrant Hawaiian flavors. The pina colada sweetness of Sugarloaf Pineapple cold cure nestles a dollop of bright, punchy Strawberry Cherry Pie, also in cold cure form. A cornucopia of fruity, island refreshment, this pairing may offer a spectrum of effects, from the stress-melting powers of SCP to the more uplifting side of SLP.
