Breakwater Earns Highest Overall Score at the 2026 International Billy Awards
On Sunday, April 19th, our very own Deadhead OG x Tom Hill Haze took 1st place in the Haze category and secured the Highest Score Overall at the 2026 International Billy Awards.
Presented by the Astor Club in New York City, the Billy’s are the gold standard of cannabis competition. The event brings together industry leaders from around the world to celebrate the craft and honor cultivators pushing new boundaries. Competing across four terpene-based categories (Haze, Candy, Fruit, and Gas), our flower went up against 197 strains from the world's top growers. We were honored to participate alongside this year’s esteemed judges and notable attendees, including Alchemist, Josh D, Skunk VA, Niche, Clade9, L.A. Family Farms, and many more!

But the effort is entirely worth it. The cure rewards us with the complex, pungent smell of classic haze: herbal tea leaves meld with sharp lemon citrus, giving way to an acrid, nostalgic aroma of cleaning supplies. We source all Breakwater strains directly from seed—we never buy cuts from other cultivators.
