Ever since Grape Ape left our menu, we’ve been on a mission to restore the nostalgic flavors of early ’90s purple weed to the Breakwater roster. Our search led us, once again, to the treasure trove of 808’s genetic library – specifically, their third generation backcross (Bx3) of Purple Urkle. An Emerald Triangle legend and one of the most iconic “purp” strains of all time, Purple Urkle was crossed with a ChemD mother to capture that classic profile we’ve been missing. Enter Urkle Dog.

Though born from a powerhouse cross, Urkle Dog takes almost all its cues from the Purple Urkle side of the family. Striking dark violet flowers flood the room with loud notes of skunk, berry, and grape. When smoked, that classic heritage shines through with an extra kick of deep funk, dank pine, and earthy hops.
