CANNABINOIDS
The endocannabinoid system is a crucial regulatory system in our bodies comprised of cannabinoid receptors, cannabinoids, and enzymes. Its primary role is to maintain balance, influencing functions such as pain perception, mood, appetite, and immune response. While it primarily functions through endocannabinoids (internally produced), it also responds to phytocannabinoids (externally produced in plants).
Trichomes are the small, glandular follicles that contain the phytocannabinoids of the cannabis plant. With a narrow stalks and spherical heads, trichomes have a distinctly mushroom-like appearance. These translucent glands cover the cannabis flower, giving it a vibrant, sparkling appearance.
Careful handling and proper hand trimming are critical to preserving these delicate structures and safeguarding the potency and medicinal value of our plants. Learn more about hand trimming.

THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) is the most well known and typically the most abundant cannabinoid. This is the primary psychoactive cannabinoid in cannabis. Patients report relief for a wide range of symptoms, including pain, inflammation, insomnia, fatigue, anxiety, nausea, muscle spasms, cramping, and more!
Our ratio-formulated options are offered with THC, because combinations of cannabinoids are known to produce more effective relief in what is commonly referred to as the “Entourage Effect.”

THCV (Tetrahydrocannabivarin) is a lesser known cannabinoid that is starting to gain more attention for its unique symptom relief. Limited studies have revealed that THCV may increase energy and soothe anxiety. There is also some evidence that suggests it may curb some of THC’s intoxicating effects such as verbal recall issues, making it more suitable for functional daytime use.
Patients report THCV products to be helpful for their anxiety, pain, fatigue, depression, and muscle tension. THCV formulations are known for their alert, productive effects, with most patients finding them suitable for daytime use.

CBD (Cannabidiol) is an anti-inflammatory cannabinoid that may provide relief for pain, seizures, Crohn’s disease, muscle tension, migraines, anxiety, and many other conditions. Cannabidiol can (in larger doses) combat the psychoactivity of THC and is sometimes used to temper overwhelming effects from high THC intake.

CBG (Cannabigerol) is the precursor to most major cannabinoids found in cannabis. Limited studies have revealed anti-nausea, anti-inflammatory, and pain-relieving properties.
Patients report CBG products to be helpful for their anxiety, inflammation, pain, muscle tension, and gastro-related symptoms. CBG formulations are typically not very sedative, with most patients finding them suitable for daytime or anytime use.

CBN (Cannabinol) is believed to have anti-inflammatory, sedative, and pain-relieving properties. Preliminary studies have shown CBN to be promising for the treatment of glaucoma.
Patients report CBN products to be helpful for their insomnia, anxiety, pain, inflammation, fatigue, muscle tension, and numbness. CBN formulations are known for their sedative effects, with most patients finding them suitable for nighttime use.
